Dr. Bruce Scott Riley is husband to Karen Riley, father of Dorian and Jason, father-in-love to Lauren and Lisa, and grandfather to Justice and Luke. He is the Senior Pastor of Praise Temple Church “The Friendliest Church in Long Beach”. He is the second Assistant Presiding Bishop of the Shield of Faith Fellowship, International. 

For more than 20 years, he has been a Licensed Marriage/Family Therapist with the primary focus of healing the family. He counsels individuals, couples, youth, and children through his ministry Solutions with Dr. Bruce. Some of his favorite events are conducting couples retreats and seminars for singles.

He attended Aenon Bible College, Loyola University, and Emmanuel Bible College (B.A.). His post-graduate work was done at Trinity Graduate School (M.S.) and the Living Word University (D.Min.). He has written three books: My Lover, My Friend; Making Love Work, The Journey to Forgiveness, and Simple Keys: Solutions for Complicated Lives.

Dr. Riley considers himself a lover of people and offers any help possible to those willing to obey the Word of God, the foundation to the solution of man’s problems. He is a man of great understanding!

Pastor Karen Zolita Riley is a friend, wife, mother and grandmother. She completed her undergraduate degree at California State University at Dominguez Hills, where she majored in Sociology. She is an Executive Elder of Praise Temple Church and heads the Women’s Department. She is the co-author of the book “We’re Not Just Church Girls: When Sisters for Life Speak”. She is the founder and leader of the “Fanning the Flames Prayer Summit.” She not only counsels those in her local church but also ministers to women and pastors’ wives across the country through “Sisters 4 Life”, which she founded in 2004. 

Always considered to have the heart of God for His people, Pastor Karen is a woman of prayer: a true intercessor. She has great insight into the things of God and knows how to communicate His will effectively. This is strategically conveyed when she conducts workshops and seminars for those facing complex issues. A woman of great wisdom and discernment, Pastor Karen is a woman of real compassion. She feels and knows the people of God and reaches out to help as she is led of God. Her desire is to see God's people fulfill their full potential, both naturally and spiritually. Her greatest joys are touching other lives and spending time with her family.
